И кад донесоше ковчег Божји, намјестише га усред шатора, који му разапе Давид; и принесоше жртве паљенице и жртве захвалне пред Богом.

So they brought the ark of God, and set it in the midst of the tent that David had pitched for it: and they offered burnt sacrifices and peace offerings before God.

Потом принесавши Давид жртве паљенице и жртве захвалне, благослови народ у име Господње.

And when David had made an end of offering the burnt offerings and the peace offerings, he blessed the people in the name of the LORD.

И раздаде свијем Израиљцима, и људима и женама, сваком по један хљеб и комад меса и врч вина.

And he dealt to every one of Israel, both man and woman, to every one a loaf of bread, and a good piece of flesh, and a flagon [of wine].

Потом постави пред ковчегом Господњим слуге између Левита да помињу и славе и хвале Господа Бога Израиљева:

And he appointed [certain] of the Levites to minister before the ark of the LORD, and to record, and to thank and praise the LORD God of Israel:

Асафа поглавара, а другога за њим Захарију, и Јеила и Семирамота и Јехила и Мататију и Елијава и Венају и Овид-Едома; и Јеило удараше у псалтире и гусле, а Асаф у кимвале,

Asaph the chief, and next to him Zechariah, Jeiel, and Shemiramoth, and Jehiel, and Mattithiah, and Eliab, and Benaiah, and Obededom: and Jeiel with psalteries and with harps; but Asaph made a sound with cymbals;

А Венаја и Јазило свештеници бијаху једнако с трубама пред ковчегом завјета Господњега.

Benaiah also and Jahaziel the priests with trumpets continually before the ark of the covenant of God.

У тај дан нареди Давид први пут да хвале Господа Асаф и браћа његова:

Then on that day David delivered first [this psalm] to thank the LORD into the hand of Asaph and his brethren.

Хвалите Господа; гласите име његово; јављајте по народима дјела његова.

Give thanks unto the LORD, call upon his name, make known his deeds among the people.

Пјевајте му, славите га, казујте сва чудеса његова.

Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him, talk ye of all his wondrous works.

Хвалите се светијем именом његовијем; нека се весели срце онијех који траже Господа.

Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.

Тражите Господа и силу његову; тражите лице његово без престанка.

Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually.

Памтите чудеса његова, која је учинио, знаке његове и судове уста његовијех.

Remember his marvellous works that he hath done, his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;

Сјеме Израиљево слуге су његове, синови Јаковљеви избрани његови.

O ye seed of Israel his servant, ye children of Jacob, his chosen ones.

Он је Господ Бог наш, по свој су земљи судови његови.

He [is] the LORD our God; his judgments [are] in all the earth.

Памтите увијек завјет његов, ријеч коју је дао на тисућу кољена.

Be ye mindful always of his covenant; the word [which] he commanded to a thousand generations;

Што је завјетовао Авраму и за што се клео Исаку,

[Even of the covenant] which he made with Abraham, and of his oath unto Isaac;

То је поставио Јакову за закон и Израиљу за завјет вјечни,

And hath confirmed the same to Jacob for a law, [and] to Israel [for] an everlasting covenant,

Говорећи: теби ћу дати земљу Хананску у нашљедни дио.

Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance;

Тада вас још бијаше мало на број, бијаше вас мало, и бијасте дошљаци.

When ye were but few, even a few, and strangers in it.

Иђаху од народа до народа, и из једнога царства к другому племену.

And [when] they went from nation to nation, and from [one] kingdom to another people;

Не даде никому да им науди, и караше за њих цареве:

He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes,

Не дирајте у помазанике моје, и пророцима мојим не чините зла.

[Saying], Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

Пјевај Господу, сва земљо! јављајте од дана на дан спасење његово.

Sing unto the LORD, all the earth; shew forth from day to day his salvation.

Казујте по народима славу његову, по свијем племенима чудеса његова.

Declare his glory among the heathen; his marvellous works among all nations.

Јер је велик Господ и ваља га хвалити веома; страшнији је од свијех богова.

For great [is] the LORD, and greatly to be praised: he also [is] to be feared above all gods.

Јер су сви богови у народа ништа; а Господ је небеса створио.

For all the gods of the people [are] idols: but the LORD made the heavens.

Слава је и величанство пред њим, сила и радост у стану његову.

Glory and honour [are] in his presence; strength and gladness [are] in his place.

Дајте Господу, племена народна, дајте Господу славу и част.

Give unto the LORD, ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

Дајте Господу славу према имену његову, носите даре и идите преда њ, поклоните се Господу и светој красоти.

Give unto the LORD the glory [due] unto his name: bring an offering, and come before him: worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Стрепи пред њим, сва земљо; зато је васиљена тврда и неће се помјестити.

Fear before him, all the earth: the world also shall be stable, that it be not moved.

Нек се веселе небеса и земља се радује; и нека говоре по народима: Господ царује.

Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice: and let [men] say among the nations, The LORD reigneth.

Нека пљеска море и што је у њему; нека скаче поље и све што је на њему.

Let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof: let the fields rejoice, and all that [is] therein.

Тада нека се радују дрвета шумска пред Господом, јер иде да суди земљи.

Then shall the trees of the wood sing out at the presence of the LORD, because he cometh to judge the earth.

Хвалите Господа, јер је добар, јер је довијека милост његова.

O give thanks unto the LORD; for [he is] good; for his mercy [endureth] for ever.

И реците: спаси нас, Боже спасења нашега, и скупи нас и избави нас од народа да славимо свето име твоје, да се хвалимо твојом славом.

And say ye, Save us, O God of our salvation, and gather us together, and deliver us from the heathen, that we may give thanks to thy holy name, [and] glory in thy praise.

Благословен Господ Бог Израиљев од вијека и до вијека. Тада сав народ рече: амин; и хвалише Господа.

Blessed [be] the LORD God of Israel for ever and ever. And all the people said, Amen, and praised the LORD.

И остави ондје пред ковчегом завјета Господњега Асафа и браћу његову да служе пред ковчегом без престанка као што треба од дана на дан,

So he left there before the ark of the covenant of the LORD Asaph and his brethren, to minister before the ark continually, as every day's work required:

И Овид-Едома и браћу његову, шездесет и осам, Овид-Едома сина Једутунова и Осу, да буду вратари;

And Obededom with their brethren, threescore and eight; Obededom also the son of Jeduthun and Hosah [to be] porters:

А Садока свештеника и браћу његову свештенике пред шатором Господњим на висини у Гаваону,

And Zadok the priest, and his brethren the priests, before the tabernacle of the LORD in the high place that [was] at Gibeon,

Да приносе жртве паљенице Господу на олтару за жртве паљенице без престанка јутром и вечером, и да чине све што је написано у закону Господњем што је заповједио Израиљу,

To offer burnt offerings unto the LORD upon the altar of the burnt offering continually morning and evening, and [to do] according to all that is written in the law of the LORD, which he commanded Israel;

И с њима Емана и Једутуна и друге изабране, који бише поименце именовани да хвале Господа, јер је довијека милост његова,

And with them Heman and Jeduthun, and the rest that were chosen, who were expressed by name, to give thanks to the LORD, because his mercy [endureth] for ever;

С њима Емана и Једутуна, да трубе у трубе и ударају у кимвале и у друге справе музичке Богу; а синове Једутунове да буду вратари.

And with them Heman and Jeduthun with trumpets and cymbals for those that should make a sound, and with musical instruments of God. And the sons of Jeduthun [were] porters.

Потом се разиде сав народ, свак својој кући, а Давид се врати да благослови дом свој.

And all the people departed every man to his house: and David returned to bless his house.
