А кад се сазида зид и намјестих врата, и постављени бише вратари и пјевачи и Левити,

Now it came to pass, when the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, and the porters and the singers and the Levites were appointed,

Заповједих Ананију брату својему и Ананији заповједнику од града Јерусалимскога, јер бјеше вјеран човјек и бојаше се Бога више него многи,

That I gave my brother Hanani, and Hananiah the ruler of the palace, charge over Jerusalem: for he [was] a faithful man, and feared God above many.

И рекох им: да се не отворају врата Јерусалимска докле сунце не огрије, и кад они што стоје ондје затворе врата, огледајте, и да се поставе стражари између становника Јерусалимских, сваки на своју стражу и сваки према својој кући.

And I said unto them, Let not the gates of Jerusalem be opened until the sun be hot; and while they stand by, let them shut the doors, and bar [them]: and appoint watches of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one in his watch, and every one [to be] over against his house.

А град бијаше широк и велик, али народа бјеше мало у њему и куће не бјеху пограђене.

Now the city [was] large and great: but the people [were] few therein, and the houses [were] not builded.

И Бог мој даде ми у срце, те сабрах главаре и старјешине и народ да се изброје по племенима. И нађох књигу, у којој бијаше пријепис онијех који се вратише први пут; и нађох у њој записано:

And my God put into mine heart to gather together the nobles, and the rulers, and the people, that they might be reckoned by genealogy. And I found a register of the genealogy of them which came up at the first, and found written therein,

Ово су људи из овога краја што се вратише из ропства између онијех који бише пресељени, које пресели Навуходоносор цар Вавилонски, па се вратише у Јерусалим и у Јудеју, сваки у свој град,

These [are] the children of the province, that went up out of the captivity, of those that had been carried away, whom Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon had carried away, and came again to Jerusalem and to Judah, every one unto his city;

Који дођоше са Зоровавељем, Исусом, Немијом, Азаријом, Рамијом, Наманијем, Мардохејем, Вилсаном, Мисперетом, Вигвајем, Неумом, Ваном; на број бјеше људи народа Израиљева:

Who came with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. The number, [I say], of the men of the people of Israel [was this];

Синова Фаросовијех двије тисуће и сто и седамдесет и два;

The children of Parosh, two thousand an hundred seventy and two.

Синова Сефатијиних триста и седамдесет и два;

The children of Shephatiah, three hundred seventy and two.

Синова Араховијех шест стотина и педесет и два;

The children of Arah, six hundred fifty and two.

Синова Фат-Моавовијех, од синова Исусовијех и Јоавовијех двије тисуће и осам стотина и осамнаест;

The children of Pahathmoab, of the children of Jeshua and Joab, two thousand and eight hundred [and] eighteen.

Синова Еламовијех тисућа и двјеста и педесет и четири;

The children of Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.

Синова Затујевих осам стотина и четрдесет и пет;

The children of Zattu, eight hundred forty and five.

Синова Захајевих седам стотина и шездесет;

The children of Zaccai, seven hundred and threescore.

Синова Винујевих шест стотина и четрдесет и осам;

The children of Binnui, six hundred forty and eight.

Синова Вивајевих шест стотина и двадесет и осам;

The children of Bebai, six hundred twenty and eight.

Синова Азгадовијех двије тисуће и три стотине и двадесет и два;

The children of Azgad, two thousand three hundred twenty and two.

Синова Адоникамовијех шест стотина и шездесет и седам;

The children of Adonikam, six hundred threescore and seven.

Синова Вигвајевијех двије тисуће и шездесет и седам;

The children of Bigvai, two thousand threescore and seven.

Синова Адиновијех шест стотина и педесет и пет;

The children of Adin, six hundred fifty and five.

Синова Атировијех од Језекије деведесет и осам;

The children of Ater of Hezekiah, ninety and eight.

Синова Асумовијех триста и двадесет и осам;

The children of Hashum, three hundred twenty and eight.

Синова Висајевијех триста и двадесет и четири;

The children of Bezai, three hundred twenty and four.

Синова Арифовијех сто и дванаест;

The children of Hariph, an hundred and twelve.

Синова Гаваонских деведесет и пет;

The children of Gibeon, ninety and five.

Људи из Витлејема и Нетофата сто и осамдесет и осам;

The men of Bethlehem and Netophah, an hundred fourscore and eight.

Људи из Анатота сто и двадесет и осам;

The men of Anathoth, an hundred twenty and eight.

Људи из Вет-Асмавета четрдесет и два;

The men of Bethazmaveth, forty and two.

Људи из Киријат-Јарима, Хефире и Вирота седам стотина и четрдесет и три;

The men of Kirjathjearim, Chephirah, and Beeroth, seven hundred forty and three.

Људи из Раме и Гаваје шест стотина и двадесет и један;

The men of Ramah and Geba, six hundred twenty and one.

Људи из Михмаса сто и двадесет и два;

The men of Michmas, an hundred and twenty and two.

Људи из Ветиља и Гаја сто и двадесет и три;

The men of Bethel and Ai, an hundred twenty and three.

Људи из другога Невона педесет и два;

The men of the other Nebo, fifty and two.

Синова Елама другога тисућа и двјеста и педесет;

The children of the other Elam, a thousand two hundred fifty and four.

Синова Харимовијх триста и двадесет;

The children of Harim, three hundred and twenty.

Синова Јерихонских триста и четрдесет и пет;

The children of Jericho, three hundred forty and five.

Синова Лодских, Адидских и Ононских седам стотина и двадесет и један;

The children of Lod, Hadid, and Ono, seven hundred twenty and one.

Синова Сенајских три тисуће и девет стотина и тридесет;

The children of Senaah, three thousand nine hundred and thirty.

Свештеника: синова Једајиних од дома Исусова девет стотина и седамдесет и три;

The priests: the children of Jedaiah, of the house of Jeshua, nine hundred seventy and three.

Синова Имировијех тисућа и педесет и два;

The children of Immer, a thousand fifty and two.

Синова Пасхоровијех тисућа и двјеста и четрдесет и седам;

The children of Pashur, a thousand two hundred forty and seven.

Синова Харимовијех тисућа и седамнаест;

The children of Harim, a thousand and seventeen.

Левита: синова Исусовијех и Кадмиловијех између синова Одавијиних седамдесет и четири;

The Levites: the children of Jeshua, of Kadmiel, [and] of the children of Hodevah, seventy and four.

Пјевача: синова Асафовијех сто и четрдесет и осам;

The singers: the children of Asaph, an hundred forty and eight.

Вратара: синова Салумовијех, синова Атировијех, синова Талмоновијех, синова Акувовијех, синова Атитинијех, синова Совајевијех сто и тридесет и осам;

The porters: the children of Shallum, the children of Ater, the children of Talmon, the children of Akkub, the children of Hatita, the children of Shobai, an hundred thirty and eight.

Нетинеја: синова Сишинијех, синова Асуфинијех, синова Таваотовијех,

The Nethinims: the children of Ziha, the children of Hashupha, the children of Tabbaoth,

Синова Киросовијех, синова Сијајиних, синова Фадановијех,

The children of Keros, the children of Sia, the children of Padon,

Синова Леваниних, синова Агавиних, синова Салмајевих,

The children of Lebana, the children of Hagaba, the children of Shalmai,

Синова Анановијех, синова Гидиловијех, синова Гаровијех,

The children of Hanan, the children of Giddel, the children of Gahar,

Синова Реајиних, синова Ресиновијех, синова Некодинијех,

The children of Reaiah, the children of Rezin, the children of Nekoda,

Синова Газамовијех, синова Узинијех, синова Фасејиних,

The children of Gazzam, the children of Uzza, the children of Phaseah,

Синова Висајевих, синова Меунимовијех, синова Нафусесимовијех,

The children of Besai, the children of Meunim, the children of Nephishesim,

Синова Ваквуковијех, синова Акуфинијех, синова Аруровијех,

The children of Bakbuk, the children of Hakupha, the children of Harhur,

Синова Васлитовијех, синова Меидинијех, синова Арсинијех,

The children of Bazlith, the children of Mehida, the children of Harsha,

Синова Варкосовијех, синова Сисаринијех, синова Таминијех,

The children of Barkos, the children of Sisera, the children of Tamah,

Синова Несијиних, синова Атифиних;

The children of Neziah, the children of Hatipha.

Синова слуга Соломуновијех: синова Сотајевих, синова Соферетових, синова Феридинијех,

The children of Solomon's servants: the children of Sotai, the children of Sophereth, the children of Perida,

Синова Јалинијех, синова Дарконовијех, синова Гидиловијех,

The children of Jaala, the children of Darkon, the children of Giddel,

Синова Сефатијиних, синова Атиловијех, синова Фохерета од Севајима, синова Амоновијех,

The children of Shephatiah, the children of Hattil, the children of Pochereth of Zebaim, the children of Amon.

Свега Нетинеја и синова слуга Соломуновијех, триста и деведесет и два.

All the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon's servants, [were] three hundred ninety and two.

И ови дођоше из Тел-Мелеха и Тел-Арисе, Херув, Адон и Имир, али не могоше показати отачкога дома својега и сјемена својега, еда ли су од Израиља,

And these [were] they which went up [also] from Telmelah, Telharesha, Cherub, Addon, and Immer: but they could not shew their father's house, nor their seed, whether they [were] of Israel.

И синови Делајини, синови Товијини, синови Некодини, њих шест стотина и четрдесет и два,

The children of Delaiah, the children of Tobiah, the children of Nekoda, six hundred forty and two.

И од свештеника: синови Авајини, синови Акосови, синови Варзелаја, који се ожени између кћери Варзелаја Галађанина, те се прозва њиховијем именом.

And of the priests: the children of Habaiah, the children of Koz, the children of Barzillai, which took [one] of the daughters of Barzillai the Gileadite to wife, and was called after their name.

Они тражише по књигама да би показали род свој, али се не нађе, зато бише одлучени од свештенства.

These sought their register [among] those that were reckoned by genealogy, but it was not found: therefore were they, as polluted, put from the priesthood.

И запријети им Тирсата да не једу од светиње над светињама докле не настане свештеник с Уримом и Тумимом.

And the Tirshatha said unto them, that they should not eat of the most holy things, till there stood [up] a priest with Urim and Thummim.

Свега збора скупа бјеше четрдесет и двије тисуће и три стотине и шездесет,

The whole congregation together [was] forty and two thousand three hundred and threescore,

Осим слуга њиховијех и слушкиња њиховијех, којих бјеше седам тисућа и три стотине и тридесет и седам; и међу њима бјеше пјевача и пјевачица двјеста и четрдесет и пет;

Beside their manservants and their maidservants, of whom [there were] seven thousand three hundred thirty and seven: and they had two hundred forty and five singing men and singing women.

Имаху седам стотина и тридесет и шест коња, двије стотине и четрдесет и пет масака,

Their horses, seven hundred thirty and six: their mules, two hundred forty and five:

Четири стотине и тридесет и пет камила, шест тисућа и седам стотина и двадесет магараца.

[Their] camels, four hundred thirty and five: six thousand seven hundred and twenty asses.

Тада неки између главара домова отачких приложише на посао. Тирсата даде у ризницу тисућу драма злата, педесет чаша, пет стотина и тридесет хаљина свештеничких.

And some of the chief of the fathers gave unto the work. The Tirshatha gave to the treasure a thousand drams of gold, fifty basons, five hundred and thirty priests' garments.

А главари домова отачких дадоше у ризницу за посао двадесет тисућа драма злата, и сребра двије тисуће и двјеста мина.

And [some] of the chief of the fathers gave to the treasure of the work twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand and two hundred pound of silver.

А што даде остали народ бјеше двадесет тисућа драма злата, и двије тисуће мина сребра, и шездесет и седам хаљина свештеничких.

And [that] which the rest of the people gave [was] twenty thousand drams of gold, and two thousand pound of silver, and threescore and seven priests' garments.

И тако се населише свештеници и Левити и вратари и пјевачи и људи из народа и Нетинеји и сав Израиљ у својим градовима; и кад дође седми мјесец, синови Израиљеви бијаху у својим градовима.

So the priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singers, and [some] of the people, and the Nethinims, and all Israel, dwelt in their cities; and when the seventh month came, the children of Israel [were] in their cities.
