Псалми Давидови

Мило ми је што Господ услиши молитвени глас мој;

I love the LORD, because he hath heard my voice [and] my supplications.

Што пригну к мени ухо своје; и зато ћу га у све дане своје призивати.

Because he hath inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon [him] as long as I live.

Опколише ме болести смртне, и јади паклени задесише ме, наиђох на тугу и муку;

The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell gat hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.

Али призвах име Господње: Господе! избави душу моју!

Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I beseech thee, deliver my soul.

Добар је Господ и праведан, и Бог је наш милостив;

Gracious [is] the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God [is] merciful.

Чува просте Господ; бијах у невољи, и поможе ми.

The LORD preserveth the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

Врати се душо моја, у мир свој! јер је Господ добротвор твој!

Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the LORD hath dealt bountifully with thee.

Ти си избавио душу моју од смрти, око моје од суза, ногу моју од спотицања.

For thou hast delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, [and] my feet from falling.

Ходићу пред лицем Господњим по земљи живијех.

I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

Вјеровах кад говорих: у љутој сам невољи.

I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

Рекох у сметњи својој: сваки је човјек лажа.

I said in my haste, All men [are] liars.

Шта ћу вратити Господу за сва добра што ми је учинио?

What shall I render unto the LORD [for] all his benefits toward me?

Узећу чашу спасења, и призваћу име Господње.

I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

Извршићу обећања своја Господу пред свијем народом његовијем.

I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

Скупа је пред Господом смрт светаца његовијех.

Precious in the sight of the LORD [is] the death of his saints.

О Господе! ја сам слуга твој, ја сам слуга твој, син слушкиње твоје; расковао си с мене окове моје.

O LORD, truly I [am] thy servant; I [am] thy servant, [and] the son of thine handmaid: thou hast loosed my bonds.

Жртву за хвалу принијећу теби, и име Господње призваћу.

I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.

Извршићу обећања своја Господу пред свијем народом његовијем,

I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people,

У двору дома Господњега, усред тебе, Јерусалиме. Алилуја!

In the courts of the LORD'S house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.
