Књига пророка Језекиља

И рече ми: сине човјечји, поједи што је пред тобом, поједи ову књигу, па иди, говори дому Израиљеву.

Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that thou findest; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.

И отворих уста, и заложи ме оном књигом.

So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.

И рече ми: сине човјечји, нахрани трбух свој, и цријева своја напуни овом књигом коју ти дајем. И поједох је, и бјеше ми у устима слатка као мед.

And he said unto me, Son of man, cause thy belly to eat, and fill thy bowels with this roll that I give thee. Then did I eat [it]; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.

Затијем рече ми: сине човјечји, иди к дому Израиљеву, и говори им моје ријечи.

And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get thee unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.

Јер се не шаљеш к народу непозната језика и неразумљива говора, него к дому Израиљеву;

For thou [art] not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, [but] to the house of Israel;

Не к многим народима непозната језика и неразумљива говора, којима ријечи не би разумио; к њима да те пошљем, послушали би те.

Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words thou canst not understand. Surely, had I sent thee to them, they would have hearkened unto thee.

Али дом Израиљев неће те послушати, јер неће мене да послушају; јер је сав дом Израиљев тврда образа и упорна срца.

But the house of Israel will not hearken unto thee; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel [are] impudent and hardhearted.

Ево дадох теби образ тврд према њихову образу, и чело тврдо према њихову челу.

Behold, I have made thy face strong against their faces, and thy forehead strong against their foreheads.

Као камен дијаманат, тврђе од стијене дадох ти чело; не бој их се, нити се плаши од њих, зато што су дом одметнички.

As an adamant harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they [be] a rebellious house.

Потом рече ми: сине човјечји, све ријечи моје што ћу ти говорити примај у срце своје и слушај ушима својим.

Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto thee receive in thine heart, and hear with thine ears.

Иди к робљу, к синовима народа својега, и говори им и реци им: тако вели Господ Господ; послушали или не послушали.

And go, get thee to them of the captivity, unto the children of thy people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.

Тада подиже ме дух, и чух за собом глас гдје се силно разлијеже: благословена слава Господња с мјеста његова;

Then the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, [saying], Blessed [be] the glory of the LORD from his place.

И лупу крила онијех животиња, која удараху једно о друго, и праску точкова према њима, глас који се силно разлијегаше.

[I heard] also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels over against them, and a noise of a great rushing.

И дух ме подиже и однесе, и иђах жалостан од срдње у духу свом; али рука Господња силна бјеше нада мном.

So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me.

И дођох к робљу у Телавив, које становаше на ријеци Хевару, и сједох гдје они сјеђаху, и сједјех ондје међу њима седам дана чудећи се.

Then I came to them of the captivity at Telabib, that dwelt by the river of Chebar, and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days.

А послије седам дана дође ми ријеч Господња говорећи:

And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Сине човјечји, поставих те стражарем дому Израиљеву, да слушаш ријечи из мојих уста и опомињеш их од мене.

Son of man, I have made thee a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.

Кад речем безбожнику: погинућеш, а ти га не опоменеш и не проговориш му да би одвратио безбожника од безбожнога пута његова, да би га сачувао у животу, онај ће безбожник погинути са својега безакоња; али ћу крв његову искати из твојих руку.

When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked [man] shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

А кад ти опоменеш безбожника, а он се и не врати од безбожности своје и са злога пута својега, он ће погинути с безакоња својега, а ти ћеш сачувати душу своју.

Yet if thou warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but thou hast delivered thy soul.

Ако ли се праведник одврати од правде своје, и стане чинити безакоње, и ја му подметнем на што ће се спотаћи, те погине, а ти га не опомену, он ће погинути са свога гријеха, и неће се поменути праведна дјела његова што је чинио, али ћу крв његову искати из твоје руке.

Again, When a righteous [man] doth turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumblingblock before him, he shall die: because thou hast not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he hath done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

Ако ли ти опоменеш праведника да не гријеши праведник, и он престане гријешити, он ће живјети, јер прими опомену, и ти ћеш сачувати душу своју.

Nevertheless if thou warn the righteous [man], that the righteous sin not, and he doth not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also thou hast delivered thy soul.

И дође ондје нада ме рука Господња, и рече ми: устани, изиди у поље, и ондје ћу говорити с тобом.

And the hand of the LORD was there upon me; and he said unto me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with thee.

И уставши отидох у поље, а гле, слава Господња стајаше ондје као слава коју видјех на ријеци Хевару, и падох на лице своје.

Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and, behold, the glory of the LORD stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar: and I fell on my face.

И уђе у ме дух, и постави ме на ноге; и проговори са мном и рече ми: иди, затвори се у кућу своју.

Then the spirit entered into me, and set me upon my feet, and spake with me, and said unto me, Go, shut thyself within thine house.

Јер, сине човјечји, ево, метнуће на те узице, и свезаће те њима, и нећеш излазити међу њих.

But thou, O son of man, behold, they shall put bands upon thee, and shall bind thee with them, and thou shalt not go out among them:

И ја ћу учинити да ти се језик прилијепи за грло, те ћеш онијемјети, и нећеш их карати, јер су дом одметнички.

And I will make thy tongue cleave to the roof of thy mouth, that thou shalt be dumb, and shalt not be to them a reprover: for they [are] a rebellious house.

Али кад ти проговорим, отворићу ти уста, и казаћеш им: овако вели Господ Господ; ко ће слушати, нека слуша, а ко неће слушати, нека не слуша; јер су дом одметнички.

But when I speak with thee, I will open thy mouth, and thou shalt say unto them, Thus saith the Lord GOD; He that heareth, let him hear; and he that forbeareth, let him forbear: for they [are] a rebellious house.
