Трећа књига Мојсијева (која се зове Левитска )

А синови Аронови Надав и Авијуд узевши сваки своју кадионицу метнуше огањ у њих и на огањ метнуше кад, и принесоше пред Господом огањ туђ, а то им не бјеше заповједио.

And Nadab and Abihu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer, and put fire therein, and put incense thereon, and offered strange fire before the LORD, which he commanded them not.

Тада дође огањ од Господа и удари их, те погибоше пред Господом.

And there went out fire from the LORD, and devoured them, and they died before the LORD.

Тада рече Мојсије Арону: то је што је казао Господ говорећи: у онима који приступају к мени бићу свет и пред цијелим народом прославићу се. А Арон оћутје.

Then Moses said unto Aaron, This [is it] that the LORD spake, saying, I will be sanctified in them that come nigh me, and before all the people I will be glorified. And Aaron held his peace.

А Мојсије позва Мисаила и Елисафана синове Озила стрица Аронова, и рече им: ходите и изнесите браћу своју испред светиње напоље из окола.

And Moses called Mishael and Elzaphan, the sons of Uzziel the uncle of Aaron, and said unto them, Come near, carry your brethren from before the sanctuary out of the camp.

И приступише и изнесоше их у кошуљама њиховијем напоље из окола, као што рече Мојсије.

So they went near, and carried them in their coats out of the camp; as Moses had said.

Тада рече Мојсије Арону и Елеазару и Итамару, синовима његовијем: немојте откривати глава својих, ни хаљина својих раздирати, да не изгинете и да се Господ не разгњеви на сав збор; него браћа ваша, сав род Израиљев, нека плаче ради пожара који учини Господ.

And Moses said unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons, Uncover not your heads, neither rend your clothes; lest ye die, and lest wrath come upon all the people: but let your brethren, the whole house of Israel, bewail the burning which the LORD hath kindled.

И с врата шатора од састанка немојте излазити, да не изгинете, јер је на вама уље помазања Господњега. И учинише по ријечи Мојсијевој.

And ye shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: for the anointing oil of the LORD [is] upon you. And they did according to the word of Moses.

И Господ рече Арону говорећи:

And the LORD spake unto Aaron, saying,

Вина и силовита пића немој пити ти ни синови твоји с тобом, кад улазите у шатор од састанка да не изгинете. То нека вам је уредба вјечна од кољена на кољено.

Do not drink wine nor strong drink, thou, nor thy sons with thee, when ye go into the tabernacle of the congregation, lest ye die: [it shall be] a statute for ever throughout your generations:

Да бисте могли распознавати шта је свето шта ли није, и шта је чисто шта ли нечисто,

And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean;

И да бисте учили синове Израиљеве свијем уредбама које им је казао Господ преко Мојсија.

And that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the LORD hath spoken unto them by the hand of Moses.

А Мојсије рече Арону и Елеазару и Итамару синовима његовијем који осташе: узимајте дар што остане од огњених жртава Господњих, и једите с хљебом пријеснијем код олтара; јер је светиња над светињама.

And Moses spake unto Aaron, and unto Eleazar and unto Ithamar, his sons that were left, Take the meat offering that remaineth of the offerings of the LORD made by fire, and eat it without leaven beside the altar: for it [is] most holy:

Зато ћете га јести на светом мјесту, јер је дио твој и дио синова твојих од огњених жртава Господњих; јер ми је тако заповјеђено.

And ye shall eat it in the holy place, because it [is] thy due, and thy sons' due, of the sacrifices of the LORD made by fire: for so I am commanded.

А груди од жртве обртане и плеће од жртве подизане једите на чистом мјесту, ти и синови твоји и кћери твоје с тобом; јер је тај дио дан теби и синовима твојим од захвалних жртава синова Израиљевих.

And the wave breast and heave shoulder shall ye eat in a clean place; thou, and thy sons, and thy daughters with thee: for [they be] thy due, and thy sons' due, [which] are given out of the sacrifices of peace offerings of the children of Israel.

Плеће од жртве подизане и груди од жртве обртане доносиће се са салом што се сажиже, да се обрне тамо и амо пред Господом, и биће твоје и синова твојих с тобом законом вјечнијем, као што је заповједио Господ.

The heave shoulder and the wave breast shall they bring with the offerings made by fire of the fat, to wave [it for] a wave offering before the LORD; and it shall be thine, and thy sons' with thee, by a statute for ever; as the LORD hath commanded.

И Мојсије потражи јаре за гријех; али гле, бјеше изгорјело; зато се разгњеви на Елеазара и на Итамара синове Аронове који осташе, и рече:

And Moses diligently sought the goat of the sin offering, and, behold, it was burnt: and he was angry with Eleazar and Ithamar, the sons of Aaron [which were] left [alive], saying,

Зашто не једосте жртве за гријех на светом мјесту? светиња је над светињама, и даде вам је Господ да носите гријех свега збора, да би се очистили од гријеха пред Господом.

Wherefore have ye not eaten the sin offering in the holy place, seeing it [is] most holy, and [God] hath given it you to bear the iniquity of the congregation, to make atonement for them before the LORD?

А ето крв њезина није унесена у светињу; ваљаше вам је јести на светом мјесту, као што сам заповједио.

Behold, the blood of it was not brought in within the holy [place]: ye should indeed have eaten it in the holy [place], as I commanded.

Тада рече Арон Мојсију: ето, данас принесоше жртву своју за гријех и жртву своју паљеницу пред Господом, и то ми се догоди. А да сам данас јео жртве за гријех, би ли било по вољи Господу?

And Aaron said unto Moses, Behold, this day have they offered their sin offering and their burnt offering before the LORD; and such things have befallen me: and [if] I had eaten the sin offering to day, should it have been accepted in the sight of the LORD?

Кад то чу Мојсије, приста на то.

And when Moses heard [that], he was content.
