Књига пророка Захарије

Потом врати се анђео који ми говораше, и пробуди ме као човјека који се буди ода сна.

And the angel that talked with me came again, and waked me, as a man that is wakened out of his sleep,

И рече ми: шта видиш? А ја рекох: видим, ето свијећњак сав од злата, и горе на њему чаша, и седам жижака његовијех на њему, и седам лијевака за седам жижака што су горе на њему,

And said unto me, What seest thou? And I said, I have looked, and behold a candlestick all [of] gold, with a bowl upon the top of it, and his seven lamps thereon, and seven pipes to the seven lamps, which [are] upon the top thereof:

И двије маслине уза њ, једна с десне стране чаши а једна с лијеве.

And two olive trees by it, one upon the right [side] of the bowl, and the other upon the left [side] thereof.

И проговорих анђелу који говораше са мном, и рекох: шта је то, господару мој?

So I answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, What [are] these, my lord?

А анђео који говораше са мном одговори и рече ми: зар не знаш што је то? И рекох: не, господару мој.

Then the angel that talked with me answered and said unto me, Knowest thou not what these be? And I said, No, my lord.

А он одговори и рече ми говорећи: то је ријеч Господња Зоровавељу: не силом ни крјепошћу него духом мојим, вели Господ над војскама.

Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This [is] the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the LORD of hosts.

Што си ти, горо велика, пред Зоровавељем? равница; и он ће изнијети највиши камен, с усклицима: милост, милост њему.

Who [art] thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel [thou shalt become] a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone [thereof with] shoutings, [crying], Grace, grace unto it.

И дође ми ријеч Господња говорећи:

Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Руке Зорововељеве основаше овај дом, руке ће његове и довршити, и познаћеш да ме је Господ над војскама послао к вама.

The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house; his hands shall also finish it; and thou shalt know that the LORD of hosts hath sent me unto you.

Јер ко је презрео дан малијех ствари? јер ће се радовати кад виде камен мјерачки у руци Зоровавељу онијех седам очију Господњих које прелазе сву земљу.

For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel [with] those seven; they [are] the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

Тада одговарајући рекох му: што су оне двије маслине с десне стране свијећњаку и с лијеве?

Then answered I, and said unto him, What [are] these two olive trees upon the right [side] of the candlestick and upon the left [side] thereof?

И опет проговорих и рекох му: што су оне двије гранчице маслинове, што су међу два лијевка златна, који точе злато?

And I answered again, and said unto him, What [be these] two olive branches which through the two golden pipes empty the golden [oil] out of themselves?

И рече ми говорећи: зар не знаш што је то? А ја рекох: не, господару мој.

And he answered me and said, Knowest thou not what these [be]? And I said, No, my lord.

Тада рече: то су двије маслине које стоје код Господа све земље.

Then said he, These [are] the two anointed ones, that stand by the Lord of the whole earth.
