Свето Јеванђеље по Луки

Приближаваше се пак празник пријеснијех хљебова који се зове пасха.

Now the feast of unleavened bread drew nigh, which is called the Passover.

И гледаху главари свештенички и књижевници како би га убили; али се бојаху народа.

And the chief priests and scribes sought how they might kill him; for they feared the people.

А сотона уђе у Јуду, који се зваше Искариот, и који бјеше један од дванаесторице.

Then entered Satan into Judas surnamed Iscariot, being of the number of the twelve.

И отишавши говори с главарима свештеничкијем и са старјешинама како ће им га издати.

And he went his way, and communed with the chief priests and captains, how he might betray him unto them.

И они се обрадоваше, и уговорише да му даду новце.

And they were glad, and covenanted to give him money.

И он се обрече, и тражаше згодна времена да им га преда тајно од народа.

And he promised, and sought opportunity to betray him unto them in the absence of the multitude.

А дође дан пријеснијех хљебова у који требаше клати пасху;

Then came the day of unleavened bread, when the passover must be killed.

И посла Петра и Јована рекавши: идите уготовите нам пасху да једемо.

And he sent Peter and John, saying, Go and prepare us the passover, that we may eat.

А ови му рекоше: гдје хоћеш да уготовимо?

And they said unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare?

А он им рече: ето кад уђете у град, срешће вас човјек који носи воду у крчагу; идите за њим у кућу у коју он уђе,

And he said unto them, Behold, when ye are entered into the city, there shall a man meet you, bearing a pitcher of water; follow him into the house where he entereth in.

И кажите домаћину: учитељ вели: гдје је гостионица гдје ћу јести пасху с ученицима својијем?

And ye shall say unto the goodman of the house, The Master saith unto thee, Where is the guestchamber, where I shall eat the passover with my disciples?

И он ће вам показати велику собу прострту; ондје уготовите.

And he shall shew you a large upper room furnished: there make ready.

А они отидоше и нађоше као што им каза; и уготовише пасху.

And they went, and found as he had said unto them: and they made ready the passover.

И кад дође час, сједе за трпезу, и дванаест апостола с њим.

And when the hour was come, he sat down, and the twelve apostles with him.

И рече им: врло сам жељео да ову пасху једем с вама прије него пострадам;

And he said unto them, With desire I have desired to eat this passover with you before I suffer:

Јер вам кажем да је отселе нећу јести док се не сврши у царству Божијему.

For I say unto you, I will not any more eat thereof, until it be fulfilled in the kingdom of God.

И узевши чашу даде хвалу, и рече: узмите је и раздијелите међу собом;

And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, Take this, and divide [it] among yourselves:

Јер вам кажем да нећу пити од рода виноградскога док не дође царство Божије.

For I say unto you, I will not drink of the fruit of the vine, until the kingdom of God shall come.

И узевши хљеб даде хвалу, и преломивши га даде им говорећи: ово је тијело моје које се даје за вас; ово чините за мој спомен.

And he took bread, and gave thanks, and brake [it], and gave unto them, saying, This is my body which is given for you: this do in remembrance of me.

А тако и чашу по вечери, говорећи: ова је чаша нови завјет мојом крви која се за вас прољева.

Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup [is] the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.

Али ево рука издајника мојега са мном је на трпези.

But, behold, the hand of him that betrayeth me [is] with me on the table.

И син човјечиј дакле иде као што је уређено; али тешко човјеку ономе који га издаје!

And truly the Son of man goeth, as it was determined: but woe unto that man by whom he is betrayed!

И они сташе тражити међу собом који би дакле од њих био који ће то учинити.

And they began to enquire among themselves, which of them it was that should do this thing.

А поста и препирање међу њима који би се држао међу њима да је највећи.

And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be accounted the greatest.

А он им рече: цареви народни владају народом, а који њим управљају, зову се добротвори.

And he said unto them, The kings of the Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority upon them are called benefactors.

Али ви немојте тако; него који је највећи међу вама нека буде као најмањи, и који је старјешина нека буде као слуга.

But ye [shall] not [be] so: but he that is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief, as he that doth serve.

Јер који је већи, који сједи за трпезом или који служи? Није ли онај који сједи за трпезом? А ја сам међу вама као слуга.

For whether [is] greater, he that sitteth at meat, or he that serveth? [is] not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among you as he that serveth.

А ви сте они који сте се одржали са мном у мојијем напастима.

Ye are they which have continued with me in my temptations.

И ја остављам вама царство као што је отац мој мени оставио:

And I appoint unto you a kingdom, as my Father hath appointed unto me;

Да једете и пијете за трпезом мојом у царству мојему, и да сједите на пријестолима и судите над дванаест кољена Израиљевијех.

That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Рече пак Господ: Симоне! Симоне! ево вас иште сотона да би вас чинио као пшеницу.

And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired [to have] you, that he may sift [you] as wheat:

А ја се молих за тебе да твоја вјера не престане; и ти кадгод обративши се утврди браћу своју.

But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.

А он му рече: Господе! с тобом готов сам и у тамницу и на смрт ићи.

And he said unto him, Lord, I am ready to go with thee, both into prison, and to death.

А он рече: кажем ти, Петре! данас неће запјевати пијетао док се трипут не одречеш да ме познајеш.

And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.

И рече им: кад вас послах без кесе и без торбе и без обуће, еда вам што недостаде? А они рекоше: ништа.

And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.

А он им рече: али сад који има кесу нека је узме, тако и торбу; а који нема нека прода хаљину своју и купи нож.

Then said he unto them, But now, he that hath a purse, let him take [it], and likewise [his] scrip: and he that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one.

Јер вам кажем да још и ово треба на мени да се изврши што стоји у писму: и међу злочинце метнуше га. Јер што је писано за мене, свршује се.

For I say unto you, that this that is written must yet be accomplished in me, And he was reckoned among the transgressors: for the things concerning me have an end.

А они рекоше: Господе! ево овдје два ножа. А он им рече: доста је.

And they said, Lord, behold, here [are] two swords. And he said unto them, It is enough.

И изишавши отиде по обичају на гору Маслинску; а за њим отидоше ученици његови.

And he came out, and went, as he was wont, to the mount of Olives; and his disciples also followed him.

А кад дође на мјесто рече им: молите се Богу да не паднете у напаст.

And when he was at the place, he said unto them, Pray that ye enter not into temptation.

И сам отступи од њих како се може каменом добацити, и клекнувши на кољена мољаше се Богу

And he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast, and kneeled down, and prayed,

Говорећи: оче! кад би хтио да пронесеш ову чашу мимо мене! али не моја воља него твоја да буде.

Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

А анђео му се јави с неба, и кријепи га.

And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

И будући у борењу, мољаше се боље; зној пак његов бијаше као капље крви које капаху на земљу.

And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground.

И уставши од молитве дође к ученицима својијем, и нађе их а они спавају од жалости,

And when he rose up from prayer, and was come to his disciples, he found them sleeping for sorrow,

И рече им: што спавате? устаните, молите се Богу да не паднете у напаст.

And said unto them, Why sleep ye? rise and pray, lest ye enter into temptation.

Док он још пак говораше, гле, народ и један од дванаесторице, који се зваше Јуда, иђаше пред њима, и приступи к Исусу да га цјелива. Јер им ово бијаше дао знак: кога цјеливам онај је.

And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him.

А Исус му рече: Јуда! зар цјеливом издајеш сина човјечијега?

But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?

А кад они што бијаху с њим видјеше шта ће бити, рекоше му: Господе! да бијемо ножем?

When they which were about him saw what would follow, they said unto him, Lord, shall we smite with the sword?

И удари један од њих слугу поглавара свештеничкога, и отсијече му десно ухо.

And one of them smote the servant of the high priest, and cut off his right ear.

А Исус одговарајући рече: оставите то. И дохвативши се до уха његова исцијели га.

And Jesus answered and said, Suffer ye thus far. And he touched his ear, and healed him.

А главарима свештеничкијем и војводама црквенијем и старјешинама који бијаху дошли на њ рече Исус: зар као на хајдука изиђосте с ножевима и кољем да ме ухватите?

Then Jesus said unto the chief priests, and captains of the temple, and the elders, which were come to him, Be ye come out, as against a thief, with swords and staves?

Сваки дан био сам с вама у цркви и не дигосте руку на мене; али је сад ваш час и област таме.

When I was daily with you in the temple, ye stretched forth no hands against me: but this is your hour, and the power of darkness.

А кад га ухватише, одведоше га и уведоше у двор поглавара свештеничкога. А Петар иђаше за њим издалека.

Then took they him, and led [him], and brought him into the high priest's house. And Peter followed afar off.

А кад они наложише огањ насред двора и сјеђаху заједно, и Петар сјеђаше међу њима.

And when they had kindled a fire in the midst of the hall, and were set down together, Peter sat down among them.

Видјевши га пак једна слушкиња гдје сједи код огња, и погледавши на њ рече: и овај бјеше с њим.

But a certain maid beheld him as he sat by the fire, and earnestly looked upon him, and said, This man was also with him.

А он га се одрече говорећи: жено! не познајем га.

And he denied him, saying, Woman, I know him not.

И мало затијем видје га други и рече: и ти си од њих. А Петар рече: човјече! нијесам.

And after a little while another saw him, and said, Thou art also of them. And Peter said, Man, I am not.

И пошто прође око једнога сахата други неко потврђиваше говорећи: заиста и овај бјеше с њим; јер је Галилејац.

And about the space of one hour after another confidently affirmed, saying, Of a truth this [fellow] also was with him: for he is a Galilaean.

А Петар рече: човјече! не знам шта говориш. И одмах док он још говораше запјева пијетао.

And Peter said, Man, I know not what thou sayest. And immediately, while he yet spake, the cock crew.

И обазревши се Господ погледа на Петра, и Петар се опомену ријечи Господње како му рече: прије него пијетао запјева одрећи ћеш ме се трипут.

And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how he had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice.

И изишавши напоље плака горко.

And Peter went out, and wept bitterly.

А људи који држаху Исуса ругаху му се, и бијаху га.

And the men that held Jesus mocked him, and smote [him].

И покривши га бијаху га по образу и питаху га говорећи: прореци ко те удари?

And when they had blindfolded him, they struck him on the face, and asked him, saying, Prophesy, who is it that smote thee?

И друге многе хуле говораху на њ.

And many other things blasphemously spake they against him.

И кад свану, сабраше се старјешине народне и главари свештенички и књижевници, и одведоше га у свој суд

And as soon as it was day, the elders of the people and the chief priests and the scribes came together, and led him into their council, saying,

Говорећи: јеси ли ти Христос? кажи нам. А он им рече: ако вам и кажем, нећете вјеровати.

Art thou the Christ? tell us. And he said unto them, If I tell you, ye will not believe:

А ако вас и запитам, нећете ми одговорити, нити ћете ме пустити.

And if I also ask [you], ye will not answer me, nor let [me] go.

Отселе ће син човјечиј сједити с десне стране силе Божије.

Hereafter shall the Son of man sit on the right hand of the power of God.

Сви пак рекоше: ти ли си дакле син Божиј? А он им рече: ви кажете да сам ја.

Then said they all, Art thou then the Son of God? And he said unto them, Ye say that I am.

А они рекоше: шта нам требају више свједочанства? јер сами чусмо из уста његовијех.

And they said, What need we any further witness? for we ourselves have heard of his own mouth.
