Коринћанима посланица прва (светог апостола Павла )

Од Павла вољом Божијом позванога апостола Исуса Христа, и од Состена брата,

Paul, called [to be] an apostle of Jesus Christ through the will of God, and Sosthenes [our] brother,

Цркви Божијој која је у Коринту, освећенима у Христу Исусу, позванима светима, са свима који призивљу име Господа нашега Исуса Христа на свакоме мјесту и њиховоме и нашему:

Unto the church of God which is at Corinth, to them that are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called [to be] saints, with all that in every place call upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, both theirs and ours:

Благодат вам и мир од Бога оца нашега и Господа Исуса Христа.

Grace [be] unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and [from] the Lord Jesus Christ.

Захваљујем свагда Богу својему за вас што вам је дана благодат Божија у Христу Исусу,

I thank my God always on your behalf, for the grace of God which is given you by Jesus Christ;

Те се у свему обогатисте кроза њ, у свакој ријечи и сваком разуму,

That in every thing ye are enriched by him, in all utterance, and [in] all knowledge;

Као што се свједочанство Христово утврди међу вама;

Even as the testimony of Christ was confirmed in you:

Тако да немате недостатка ни у једноме дару, ви који чекате откривења Господа нашега Исуса Христа,

So that ye come behind in no gift; waiting for the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ:

Који ће вас и утврдити до самога краја да будете прави на дан Господа нашега Исуса Христа.

Who shall also confirm you unto the end, [that ye may be] blameless in the day of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Вјеран је Бог који вас позва у заједницу сина својега Исуса Христа Господа нашега.

God [is] faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

Молим вас пак, браћо, именом Господа нашега Исуса Христа да сви једно говорите, и да не буду међу вама распре, него да будете утврђени у једном разуму и у једној мисли.

Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and [that] there be no divisions among you; but [that] ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

Јер сам чуо за вас, браћо моја, од Хлојинијех домашњијех да су свађе међу вама,

For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them [which are of the house] of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.

А то кажем да један од вас говори: ја сам Павлов; а други: ја сам Аполов; а трећи: ја сам Кифин; а четврти: ја сам Христов.

Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.

Еда ли се Христос раздјели? Еда ли се Павле разапе за вас? или се у име Павлово крстисте?

Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

Хвала Богу што ја ниједнога од вас не крстих осим Криспа и Гаја;

I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius;

Да не рече ко да у своје име крстих.

Lest any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.

А крстих и Стефанин дом: даље не знам јесам ли кога другог крстио.

And I baptized also the household of Stephanas: besides, I know not whether I baptized any other.

Јер Христос не посла мене да крстим, него да проповиједам јеванђеље, не премудријем ријечима, да не изгуби силу крст Христов.

For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

Јер је ријеч крстова лудост онима који гину; а нама је који се спасавамо сила Божија.

For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Јер је писано: погубићу премудрост премудријех, и разум разумнијех одбацићу.

For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

Гдје је премудри? Гдје је књижевник? Гдје је препирач овога вијека? Не претвори ли Бог мудрост овога свијета у лудост?

Where [is] the wise? where [is] the scribe? where [is] the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

Јер будући да у премудрости Божијој не позна свијет премудрошћу Бога, била је Божија воља да лудошћу поучења спасе оне који вјерују.

For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

Јер и Јевреји знаке ишту, и Грци премудрости траже.

For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

А ми проповиједамо Христа разапета, Јеврејима дакле саблазан а Грцима безумље;

But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

Онима пак који су позвани, и Јеврејима и Грцима, Христа, Божију силу и Божију премудрост.

But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

Јер је лудост Божија мудрија од људи, и слабост је Божија јача од људи.

Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

Јер погледајте знање своје, браћо, да нема ни много премудријех по тијелу, ни много силнијех ни много племенитијех;

For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, [are called]:

Него што је лудо пред свијетом оно изабра Бог да посрами премудре; и што је слабо пред свијетом оно изабра Бог да посрами јако;

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

И што је неплеменито пред свијетом и уништено изабра Бог, и што није, да уништи оно што јест,

And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, [yea], and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

Да се не похвали ниједно тијело пред Богом.

That no flesh should glory in his presence.

Из којега сте ви у Христу Исусу, који нам поста премудрост од Бога и правда и освећење и избављење.

But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

Да (као што се пише) ко се хвали, Господом да се хвали.

That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.
