Коринћанима посланица друга (светог апостола Павла )

Од Павла, апостола Исуса Христа по вољи Божијој и брата Тимотија цркви Божјој у Коринту, са свима светима који су у свој Ахаји:

Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy [our] brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:

Благодат вам и мир од Бога оца нашега, и Господа Исуса Христа.

Grace [be] to you and peace from God our Father, and [from] the Lord Jesus Christ.

Благословен Бог и отац Господа нашега Исуса Христа, отац милости и Бог сваке утјехе,

Blessed [be] God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

Који нас утјешава у свакој невољи нашој, да бисмо могли утјешити оне који су у свакој невољи утјехом којом нас саме Бог утјешава.

Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

Јер како се страдања Христова умножавају на нама тако се и утјеха наша умножава кроз Христа.

For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also aboundeth by Christ.

Ако ли смо пак у невољи, за вашу је утјеху и спасеније, које постаје у трпљењу тијех истијех страдања која и ми подносимо.

And whether we be afflicted, [it is] for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, [it is] for your consolation and salvation.

И надање наше тврдо је за вас. Ако ли се утјешавамо, за вашу је утјеху и спасеније, знајући да као што сте заједничари у нашему страдању тако и у утјеси.

And our hope of you [is] stedfast, knowing, that as ye are partakers of the sufferings, so [shall ye be] also of the consolation.

Јер вам нећемо, браћо, затајити невоље наше која нам се догоди у Азији кад нам је било претешко и преко силе тако да се нијесмо надали ни живљети;

For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:

Него сами у себи осудисмо да нам ваља помријети да се већ не уздасмо у себе него у Бога који подиже мртве.

But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raiseth the dead:

Који нас је од толике смрти избавио, и избавља; и у њега се уздамо да ће нас и још избавити,

Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver [us];

С помоћу и ваше молитве за нас; да многи људи многу хвалу дају Богу за даре који су нама дати вас ради.

Ye also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift [bestowed] upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.

Јер је наша слава ово: свједочанство савјести наше да смо у простоти и чистоти Божијој а не у мудрости тјелесној него по благодати Божијој живљели на свијету, а особито међу вама.

For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly to you-ward.

Јер вам друго не пишемо него што читате и разумијевате. А надам се да ћете и до краја разумјети.

For we write none other things unto you, than what ye read or acknowledge; and I trust ye shall acknowledge even to the end;

Као што неки и разумјесте да смо вам слава као и ви нама за дан Господа нашега Исуса Христа.

As also ye have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as ye also [are] ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.

И у овом поуздању шћадијах да вам дођем прије, да другу благодат имате;

And in this confidence I was minded to come unto you before, that ye might have a second benefit;

И кроз вас да дођем у Маћедонију, и опет из Маћедоније да дођем к вама, и ви да ме пратите у Јудеју.

And to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again out of Macedonia unto you, and of you to be brought on my way toward Judaea.

Али кад сам ово хтио, еда ли сам дакле што непристојно чинио? Или што се накањујем, да се по тијелу накањујем, да буде у мене да да, а не не?

When I therefore was thus minded, did I use lightness? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay?

Али је Бог вјеран, те ријеч наша к вама не би да и не.

But [as] God [is] true, our word toward you was not yea and nay.

Јер син Божиј Исус Христос, којега ми вама приповиједасмо ја и Силван и Тимотије, не би да и не, него у њему би да.

For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, [even] by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.

Јер колико је обећања Божијех, у њему су да, и у њему амин, Богу на славу кроз нас.

For all the promises of God in him [are] yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

А Бог је који нас утврди с вама у Христу, и помаза нас,

Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, [is] God;

Који нас и запечати, и даде залог Духа у срца наша.

Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

А ја за свједока Бога призивам на своју душу да штедећи вас не дођох више у Коринт.

Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth.

Не као да ми владамо вјером вашом, него смо помагачи ваше радости; јер у вјери стојите.

Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith ye stand.
