Јеврејима посланица (светог апостола Павла )

Љубав братинска да остане међу вама.

Let brotherly love continue.

Гостољубивости не заборављајте; јер неки не знајући из гостољубивости примише анђеле на конак.

Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.

Опомињите се сужња као да сте с њима свезани, онијех којима се неправда чини као да сте и сами у тијелу.

Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; [and] them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

Женидбу да држе сви у части, и постеља женидбена да буде чиста; а курварима и прељубочинцима судиће Бог.

Marriage [is] honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

Не будите среброљупци; будите задовољни онијем што имате. Јер он рече: нећу те оставити, нити ћу од тебе отступити;

[Let your] conversation [be] without covetousness; [and be] content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

Тако да смијемо говорити: Господ је мој помоћник, и нећу се бојати; шта ће ми учинити човјек?

So that we may boldly say, The Lord [is] my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me.

Опомињите се својијех учитеља који вам казиваше ријеч Божију; гледајте на свршетак њихова живљења, и угледајте се на вјеру њихову.

Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of [their] conversation.

Исус Христос јуче је и данас онај исти и вавијек.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

У науке туђе и различне не пристајте; јер је добро благодаћу утврђивати срца, а не јелима, од којијех не имаше користи они који живљаше у њима.

Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For [it is] a good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have not profited them that have been occupied therein.

Имамо пак олтар од којега они не смију јести који служе скинији.

We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the tabernacle.

Јер којијех животиња крв уноси поглавар свештенички у светињу за гријехе, онијех се тјелеса спаљују изван окола.

For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.

Зато Исус, да освети народ крвљу својом, изван града пострада.

Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

Зато дакле да излазимо к њему изван окола, носећи његову срамоту.

Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.

Јер овдје немамо града који ће остати, него тражимо онај који ће доћи.

For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.

Кроз њега дакле, да свагда приносимо Богу жртву хвале, то јест плод усана које признају име његово.

By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of [our] lips giving thanks to his name.

А добро чинити и давати милостињу не заборављајте; јер се таковијем жртвама угађа Богу.

But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

Слушајте учитеље своје и покоравајте им се, јер се они старају за душе ваше, као који ће дати одговор, да то с радошћу чине, а не уздишући; јер вам ово не помаже.

Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that [is] unprofitable for you.

Молите се Богу за нас. Јер се надамо да имамо добру савјест, старајући се у свему добро да живимо.

Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

А одвише молим чините ово, да бих се прије вратио к вама.

But I beseech [you] the rather to do this, that I may be restored to you the sooner.

А Бог мира, који изведе из мртвијех великога пастира овцама, крвљу завјета вјечнога, Господа нашега Исуса Христа,

Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,

Да вас саврши у свакоме дјелу добром, да учините вољу његову, чинећи у вама што је угодно пред њим, кроз Исуса Христа, којему слава ва вијек вијека. Амин.

Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom [be] glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Молим вас пак, браћо, примите ријеч поучења; јер укратко написах и послах вам.

And I beseech you, brethren, suffer the word of exhortation: for I have written a letter unto you in few words.

Знајте да је отишао наш брат Тимотије, с којијем, ако скоро дође, видјећу вас.

Know ye that [our] brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom, if he come shortly, I will see you.

Поздравите све учитеље своје и све свете. Поздрављају вас браћа, која су из Талијанске.

Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They of Italy salute you.
