Књига пророка Исаије

Али сада овако вели Господ, који те је створио, Јакове, и који те је саздао, Израиљу: не бој се, јер те откупих, позвах те по имену твом; мој си.

But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called [thee] by thy name; thou [art] mine.

Кад пођеш преко воде, ја ћу бити с тобом, или преко ријека, неће те потопити; кад пођеш кроз огањ, нећеш изгорјети и неће те пламен опалити.

When thou passest through the waters, I [will be] with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.

Јер сам ја Господ, Бог твој, светац Израиљев, спаситељ твој; дадох у откуп за те Мисир, Етиопску и Севу мјесто тебе.

For I [am] the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour: I gave Egypt [for] thy ransom, Ethiopia and Seba for thee.

Откако си ми постао драг, прославио си се и ја те љубих; и дадох људе за те и народе за душу твоју.

Since thou wast precious in my sight, thou hast been honourable, and I have loved thee: therefore will I give men for thee, and people for thy life.

Не бој се, јер сам ја с тобом; од истока ћу довести сјеме твоје, и од запада сабраћу те.

Fear not: for I [am] with thee: I will bring thy seed from the east, and gather thee from the west;

Казаћу сјеверу: дај; и југу: не брани; доведи синове моје из далека и кћери моје с крајева земаљских,

I will say to the north, Give up; and to the south, Keep not back: bring my sons from far, and my daughters from the ends of the earth;

Све, који се зову мојим именом и које створих на славу себи, саздах и начиних.

[Even] every one that is called by my name: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

Bring forth the blind people that have eyes, and the deaf that have ears.

Сви народи нека се скупе, и нека се саберу племена; ко је између њих напријед казао то или нам казао што је било прије? Нека доведу свједоке своје и оправдају се; или нека чују, и реку: истина је.

Let all the nations be gathered together, and let the people be assembled: who among them can declare this, and shew us former things? let them bring forth their witnesses, that they may be justified: or let them hear, and say, [It is] truth.

Ви сте моји свједоци, вели Господ, и слуга мој којега изабрах, да бисте знали и вјеровали ми и разумјели да сам ја; прије мене није било Бога нити ће послије мене бити.

Ye [are] my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and understand that I [am] he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.

Ја сам, ја сам Господ, и осим мене нема спаситеља.

I, [even] I, [am] the LORD; and beside me [there is] no saviour.

Ја објавих, и спасох, и напријед казах, и никоји туђ бог међу вама, и ви сте ми свједоци, вели Господ, и ја сам Бог.

I have declared, and have saved, and I have shewed, when [there was] no strange [god] among you: therefore ye [are] my witnesses, saith the LORD, that I [am] God.

Ја сам од прије него дан поста, и нико не може избавити из моје руке; кад радим, ко ће смести?

Yea, before the day [was] I [am] he; and [there is] none that can deliver out of my hand: I will work, and who shall let it?

Овако говори Господ избавитељ ваш, светац Израиљев: вас ради послаћу у Вавилон и побацаћу све пријеворнице, и Халдејце с лађама, којима се хвале.

Thus saith the LORD, your redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; For your sake I have sent to Babylon, and have brought down all their nobles, and the Chaldeans, whose cry [is] in the ships.

Ја сам Господ светац ваш, створитељ Израиљев, цар ваш.

I [am] the LORD, your Holy One, the creator of Israel, your King.

Овако говори Господ који је начинио по мору пут и по силнијем водама стазу,

Thus saith the LORD, which maketh a way in the sea, and a path in the mighty waters;

Који изводи кола и коње, војску и силу, да сви попадају и не могу устати, да се угасе као што се гаси свјештило:

Which bringeth forth the chariot and horse, the army and the power; they shall lie down together, they shall not rise: they are extinct, they are quenched as tow.

Не помињите што је прије било и не мислите о старијем стварима.

Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.

Ево, ја ћу учинити ново, одмах ће настати; нећете ли га познати? Још ћу начинити у пустињи пут, ријеке у сухој земљи.

Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, [and] rivers in the desert.

Славиће ме звијери пољске, змајеви и сове, што сам извео у пустињу воде, ријеке у земљи сухој, да напојим народ свој, избраника својега.

The beast of the field shall honour me, the dragons and the owls: because I give waters in the wilderness, [and] rivers in the desert, to give drink to my people, my chosen.

Народ који саздах себи, приповједаће хвалу моју.

This people have I formed for myself; they shall shew forth my praise.

А ти, Јакове, не призива ме, и бијах ти досадан, Израиљу.

But thou hast not called upon me, O Jacob; but thou hast been weary of me, O Israel.

Нијеси ми принио јагњета на жртву паљеницу, и жртвама својим нијеси ме почастио; нијесам те нагонио да ми служиш приносима, нити сам те трудио да ми кадиш.

Thou hast not brought me the small cattle of thy burnt offerings; neither hast thou honoured me with thy sacrifices. I have not caused thee to serve with an offering, nor wearied thee with incense.

Нијеси ми купио за новце када, нити си ме претилином жртава својих наситио, него си ме мучио својим гријесима, и досадио си ми безакоњем својим.

Thou hast bought me no sweet cane with money, neither hast thou filled me with the fat of thy sacrifices: but thou hast made me to serve with thy sins, thou hast wearied me with thine iniquities.

Ја, ја сам бришем твоје пријеступе себе ради, и гријеха твојих не помињем.

I, [even] I, [am] he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.

Опомени ме, да се судимо, казуј, да се оправдаш.

Put me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.

Отац твој први сагријеши, и учитељи твоји скривише ми.

Thy first father hath sinned, and thy teachers have transgressed against me.

Зато ћу избацити из светиње кнезове, и даћу Јакова у проклетство и Израиља у срамоту.

Therefore I have profaned the princes of the sanctuary, and have given Jacob to the curse, and Israel to reproaches.
