Књига пророка Језекиља

Опет ми дође ријеч Господња говорећи:

The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

И ти, сине човјечји, наричи за Тиром,

Now, thou son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus;

И реци Тиру, који стоји на уласку морском, који тргује с народима на многим острвима: овако вели Господ Господ: Тире, ти говораше: ја сам сасвијем лијеп.

And say unto Tyrus, O thou that art situate at the entry of the sea, [which art] a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus saith the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, thou hast said, I [am] of perfect beauty.

Међе су ти у срцу морском; који те зидаше, начинише те сасвијем лијеп.

Thy borders [are] in the midst of the seas, thy builders have perfected thy beauty.

Од јела Сенирских градише ти даске, кедре с Ливана узимаше да ти граде ступове.

They have made all thy [ship] boards of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for thee.

Од храстова Васанских градише ти весла, сједишта ти градише од слонове кости и од шимшира с острва Китејских.

[Of] the oaks of Bashan have they made thine oars; the company of the Ashurites have made thy benches [of] ivory, [brought] out of the isles of Chittim.

Танко платно Мисирско изметано разапињао си да су ти једра; порфиром и скерлетом с острва Елиских покривао си се.

Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which thou spreadest forth to be thy sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered thee.

Становници Сидонски и Арвадски бијаху ти веслари; мудраци твоји, Тире, што бијаху у теби, бијаху ти крмари.

The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were thy mariners: thy wise [men], O Tyrus, [that] were in thee, were thy pilots.

Старјешине и мудраци Гевалски оправљаху у теби што би ти се покварило; све лађе морске и лађари бијаху у теби тргујући с тобом.

The ancients of Gebal and the wise [men] thereof were in thee thy calkers: all the ships of the sea with their mariners were in thee to occupy thy merchandise.

Персијанци и Лудеји и Путеји бијаху у војсци твојој твоји војници; штитове и шљемове вјешаху у теби; они те украшаваху.

They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in thine army, thy men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in thee; they set forth thy comeliness.

Синови Арвадски с твојом војском бијаху на зидовима твојим унаоколо, и Гамадеји бијаху у кулама твојим, штитове своје вјешаху на зидовима твојим унаоколо, они ти довршиваху љепоту.

The men of Arvad with thine army [were] upon thy walls round about, and the Gammadims were in thy towers: they hanged their shields upon thy walls round about; they have made thy beauty perfect.

Тарсис трговаше с тобом многим свакојаким благом; са сребром, с гвожђем, с коситером и с оловом долажаху на сајме твоје.

Tarshish [was] thy merchant by reason of the multitude of all [kind of] riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in thy fairs.

Јаван, Тувал и Месех бијаху твоји трговци; с душама људским и судима мједенијем долажаху на сајме твоје.

Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they [were] thy merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in thy market.

А који су од дома Тогармина, с коњма и коњицима и мазгама долажаху на сајме твоје.

They of the house of Togarmah traded in thy fairs with horses and horsemen and mules.

The men of Dedan [were] thy merchants; many isles [were] the merchandise of thine hand: they brought thee [for] a present horns of ivory and ebony.

Сирија трговаше с тобом мноштвом дјела твојих, долажаше на сајме твоје са смарагдом и порфиром и узводом и танким платном, и коралом и ахатом.

Syria [was] thy merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of thy making: they occupied in thy fairs with emeralds, purple, and broidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and agate.

Јуда и земља Израиљева бијаху твоји трговци, долажаху на сајме твоје са пшеницом Минитском и Финичком и медом и уљем и балсамом.

Judah, and the land of Israel, they [were] thy merchants: they traded in thy market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm.

Дамасак трговаше с тобом мноштвом дјела твојих, мноштвом свакога блага, вином Хелвонским и бијелом вуном.

Damascus [was] thy merchant in the multitude of the wares of thy making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool.

И Дан и Јаван и Мосел долажаху на сајме твоје; урађено гвожђе и касију и цимет мијењаху с тобом.

Dan also and Javan going to and fro occupied in thy fairs: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in thy market.

Дедан трговаше с тобом скупоцјенијем простиркама за кола.

Dedan [was] thy merchant in precious clothes for chariots.

Арапи и сви кнезови Кидарски трговаху с тобом; с јагањцима и овновима и јарцима долажаху на сајме твоје.

Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with thee in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these [were they] thy merchants.

Трговци Савски и Рамски трговаху с тобом; долажаху на сајме твоје са свакојаким мирисима и свакојаким драгим камењем и златом.

The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, they [were] thy merchants: they occupied in thy fairs with chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold.

Харан и Кана и Еден, трговци Савски, Асур и Хилмад трговаху с тобом.

Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, [and] Chilmad, [were] thy merchants.

Ти трговаху с тобом свакојаким стварима, порфиром и узводом и ковчезима богатијех накита, који се свезиваху ужима и бијаху од кедра.

These [were] thy merchants in all sorts [of things], in blue clothes, and broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among thy merchandise.

Лађе Тарсиске бијаху прве у твојој трговини, и ти бијаше веома пун и веома славан у срцу морском.

The ships of Tarshish did sing of thee in thy market: and thou wast replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the seas.

Веслари твоји одвезоше те на пучину; вјетар источни разби те усред мора.

Thy rowers have brought thee into great waters: the east wind hath broken thee in the midst of the seas.

Благо твоје и сајми твоји, трговина твоја, лађари твоји и крмари твоји и који оправљаху кварне лађе твоје, и трговци твоји и сви војници твоји и сав народ што бјеше у теби пашће у срце мору кад ти пропаднеш.

Thy riches, and thy fairs, thy merchandise, thy mariners, and thy pilots, thy calkers, and the occupiers of thy merchandise, and all thy men of war, that [are] in thee, and in all thy company which [is] in the midst of thee, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of thy ruin.

Од вике твојих крмара усколебаће се вали морски.

The suburbs shall shake at the sound of the cry of thy pilots.

И изаћи ће из лађа својих сви веслари, лађари, сви крмари морски, и стаће на земљу.

And all that handle the oar, the mariners, [and] all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;

И повикаће за тобом иза гласа и заридати горко, и посуће прахом главе своје и по пепелу ће се ваљати.

And shall cause their voice to be heard against thee, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes:

И за тобом ће се начинити ћелави, и припасаће костријет, и плакаће за тобом горко из срца, и горко ће ридати.

And they shall make themselves utterly bald for thee, and gird them with sackcloth, and they shall weep for thee with bitterness of heart [and] bitter wailing.

И за тобом ће запијевати у жалости својој и нарицаће за тобом; ко је био као Тир, оборени усред мора?

And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for thee, and lament over thee, [saying], What [city is] like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?

Кад излажаху тргови твоји из мора, ситио си многе народе, мноштвом својега богатства и трговине своје обогаћавао си цареве земаљске.

When thy wares went forth out of the seas, thou filledst many people; thou didst enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of thy riches and of thy merchandise.

Кад те разби море на дубокој води, трговина твоја и сав народ твој у теби паде.

In the time [when] thou shalt be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters thy merchandise and all thy company in the midst of thee shall fall.

Сви острвљани препадоше се од тебе, и цареви њихови уздркташе се и преблиједише у лицу.

All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at thee, and their kings shall be sore afraid, they shall be troubled in [their] countenance.

Трговци по народима зазвиждаше над тобом: постао си страхота, и неће те бити довијека.

The merchants among the people shall hiss at thee; thou shalt be a terror, and never [shalt be] any more.
