Трећа књига Мојсијева (која се зове Левитска )

Још рече Господ Мојсију говорећи:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Кажи свему збору синова Израиљевих, и реци им: будите свети, јер сам ја свет, Господ Бог ваш.

Speak unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, and say unto them, Ye shall be holy: for I the LORD your God [am] holy.

Сваки да се боји матере своје и оца својега; и држите суботе моје; ја сам Господ Бог ваш.

Ye shall fear every man his mother, and his father, and keep my sabbaths: I [am] the LORD your God.

Не обраћајте се к идолима, и богова ливенијех не градите себи; ја сам Господ Бог ваш.

Turn ye not unto idols, nor make to yourselves molten gods: I [am] the LORD your God.

А кад приносите жртву захвалну Господу, приносите је драге воље.

And if ye offer a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, ye shall offer it at your own will.

У који је дан принесете, нека се једе, и сјутрадан; а што остане до трећега дана, нека се огњем сажеже.

It shall be eaten the same day ye offer it, and on the morrow: and if ought remain until the third day, it shall be burnt in the fire.

А ако би се што јело трећи дан, гад је, неће бити угодна.

And if it be eaten at all on the third day, it [is] abominable; it shall not be accepted.

Ко би је год јео, носиће своје безакоње, јер оскврни светињу Господу; зато ће се истријебити она душа из народа својега.

Therefore [every one] that eateth it shall bear his iniquity, because he hath profaned the hallowed thing of the LORD: and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.

А кад жањете род земље своје, немој пожети сасвијем њиве своје, нити пабирчи по жетви.

And when ye reap the harvest of your land, thou shalt not wholly reap the corners of thy field, neither shalt thou gather the gleanings of thy harvest.

Ни винограда својега немој пабирчити, и немој купити зрна која падну по винограду твојем; него остави сиромаху и дошљаку. Ја сам Господ Бог ваш.

And thou shalt not glean thy vineyard, neither shalt thou gather [every] grape of thy vineyard; thou shalt leave them for the poor and stranger: I [am] the LORD your God.

Не крадите; не лажите и не варајте ближњега својега.

Ye shall not steal, neither deal falsely, neither lie one to another.

Не куните се именом мојим криво; јер ћеш оскврнити име Бога својега. Ја сам Господ.

And ye shall not swear by my name falsely, neither shalt thou profane the name of thy God: I [am] the LORD.

Не закидај ближњега својега и не отимај му; плаћа надничарова да не преноћи код тебе до јутра.

Thou shalt not defraud thy neighbour, neither rob [him]: the wages of him that is hired shall not abide with thee all night until the morning.

Немој псовати глуха, ни пред слијепца метати што да се спотакне; него се бој Бога својега; ја сам Господ.

Thou shalt not curse the deaf, nor put a stumblingblock before the blind, but shalt fear thy God: I [am] the LORD.

Не чините неправде на суду, не гледај што је ко сиромах, нити се поводи за богатијем; право суди ближњему својему.

Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honour the person of the mighty: [but] in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

Не иди као опадач по народу својем, и не устај на крв ближњега својега; ја сам Господ.

Thou shalt not go up and down [as] a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I [am] the LORD.

Немој мрзити на брата својега у срцу својем; слободно искарај ближњега својега, и немој трпјети гријеха на њему.

Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.

Не буди осветљив, и не носи срдње на синове народа својега; него љуби ближњега својега као себе самога; ја сам Господ.

Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself: I [am] the LORD.

Уредбе моје држите; живинчета својега не пуштај на живинче друге врсте; не засијевај њиве своје двојаким сјеменом, и не облачи на се хаљине од двојаких ствари.

Ye shall keep my statutes. Thou shalt not let thy cattle gender with a diverse kind: thou shalt not sow thy field with mingled seed: neither shall a garment mingled of linen and woollen come upon thee.

Ако би ко облежао робињу која је испрошена али није откупљена ни ослобођена, обоје да се шибају, али да се не погубе; јер није била ослобођена.

And whosoever lieth carnally with a woman, that [is] a bondmaid, betrothed to an husband, and not at all redeemed, nor freedom given her; she shall be scourged; they shall not be put to death, because she was not free.

И нека он принесе Господу жртву за пријеступ свој на врата шатора од састанка, овна за пријеступ.

And he shall bring his trespass offering unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, [even] a ram for a trespass offering.

И нека га очисти пред Господом свештеник овном принесеним за пријеступ од гријеха који је учинио; и опростиће му се гријех његов.

And the priest shall make an atonement for him with the ram of the trespass offering before the LORD for his sin which he hath done: and the sin which he hath done shall be forgiven him.

А кад дођете у земљу и насадите свакојакога воћа, обрежите му окрајак, род његов; три године нека вам је необрезано, и не једите га,

And when ye shall come into the land, and shall have planted all manner of trees for food, then ye shall count the fruit thereof as uncircumcised: three years shall it be as uncircumcised unto you: it shall not be eaten of.

А четврте године нека буде сав род његов посвећен у хвалу Господу.

But in the fourth year all the fruit thereof shall be holy to praise the LORD [withal].

Па тек пете године једите воће с њега, да би вам се умножио род његов. Ја сам Господ Бог ваш.

And in the fifth year shall ye eat of the fruit thereof, that it may yield unto you the increase thereof: I [am] the LORD your God.

Ye shall not eat [any thing] with the blood: neither shall ye use enchantment, nor observe times.

Не стризите косе своје уокруг, ни грдите браде своје.

Ye shall not round the corners of your heads, neither shalt thou mar the corners of thy beard.

За мртвацем не режите тијела својега, ни ударајте на се каквих биљега. Ја сам Господ.

Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I [am] the LORD.

Немој скврнити кћери своје пуштајући је да се курва, да се не би земља прокурвала и напунила се безакоња.

Do not prostitute thy daughter, to cause her to be a whore; lest the land fall to whoredom, and the land become full of wickedness.

Држите суботе моје, и светињу моју поштујте. Ја сам Господ.

Ye shall keep my sabbaths, and reverence my sanctuary: I [am] the LORD.

Не обраћајте се к врачарима и гатарима, нити их питајте, да се не скврните о њих. Ја сам Господ Бог ваш.

Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I [am] the LORD your God.

Пред сиједом главом устани, и поштуј лице старчево, и бој се Бога својега. Ја сам Господ.

Thou shalt rise up before the hoary head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God: I [am] the LORD.

Ако је у тебе дошљак у земљи вашој, не чини му криво.

And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.

Ко је дошљак међу вама, нека вам буде као онај који се родио међу вама, и љуби га као себе самога; јер сте и ви били дошљаци у земљи Мисирској. Ја сам Господ Бог ваш.

[But] the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I [am] the LORD your God.

Не чините неправде у суду, ни мјером за дужину, ни мјером за тежину, ни мјером за ствари које се сипају.

Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.

Мјерила нека су вам права, камење право, ефа права, ин прав. Ја сам Господ Бог ваш, који сам вас извео из земље Мисирске.

Just balances, just weights, a just ephah, and a just hin, shall ye have: I [am] the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt.

Држите дакле све уредбе моје и све законе моје, и вршите их. Ја сам Господ.

Therefore shall ye observe all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: I [am] the LORD.
