Свето Јеванђеље по Луки

Сазвавши пак дванаесторицу даде им силу и власт над свијем ђаволима, и да исцијељују од болести.

Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.

И посла их да проповиједају царство Божије, и да исцјељују болеснике.

And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

И рече им: ништа не узимајте на пут, ни штапа ни торбе ни хљеба ни новаца, нити по двије хаљине да имате.

And he said unto them, Take nothing for [your] journey, neither staves, nor scrip, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.

У коју кућу уђете ондје будите и оданде полазите.

And whatsoever house ye enter into, there abide, and thence depart.

И гдје вас не приме излазећи из града онога отресите и прах с ногу својијех, за свједочанство на њих.

And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.

А кад изиђоше, иђаху по селима проповиједајући јеванђеље и исцјељујући свуда.

And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.

А кад чу Ирод четверовласник шта он чини, не могаше се начудити, јер неки говораху да је Јован устао из мртвијех,

Now Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done by him: and he was perplexed, because that it was said of some, that John was risen from the dead;

А једни да се Илија појавио, а једни да је устао који од старијех пророка.

And of some, that Elias had appeared; and of others, that one of the old prophets was risen again.

И рече Ирод: Јована ја посјекох; али ко је то о коме ја таква чудеса слушам? И жељаше га видјети.

And Herod said, John have I beheaded: but who is this, of whom I hear such things? And he desired to see him.

И вративши се апостоли казаше му шта су починили. И узевши их отиде насамо у пустињу код града који се зваше Витсаида.

And the apostles, when they were returned, told him all that they had done. And he took them, and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.

А народ разумјевши пође за њим и примивши их говораше им о царству Божијему и исцјељиваше који требаху исцјељивања.

And the people, when they knew [it], followed him: and he received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing.

А дан стаде нагињати. Тада приступише дванаесторица и рекоше му: отпусти народ, нека иду на конак у околна села и паланке, и нек нађу јела, јер смо овдје у пустињи.

And when the day began to wear away, then came the twelve, and said unto him, Send the multitude away, that they may go into the towns and country round about, and lodge, and get victuals: for we are here in a desert place.

А он им рече: подајте им ви нека једу. А они рекоше: у нас нема више од пет хљебова и двије рибе; већ ако да идемо ми да купимо на све ове људе јела?

But he said unto them, Give ye them to eat. And they said, We have no more but five loaves and two fishes; except we should go and buy meat for all this people.

Јер бијаше људи око пет хиљада. Али он рече ученицима својијем: посадите их на гомиле по педесет.

For they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down by fifties in a company.

И учинише тако, и посадише их све.

And they did so, and made them all sit down.

А он узе онијех пет хљебова и обје рибе, и погледавши на небо благослови их и преломи, и даваше ученицима да раздаду народу.

Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude.

И једоше и наситише се сви, и накупише комада дванаест котарица што им претече.

And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets.

И кад се једанпут мољаше Богу насамо, с њим бијаху ученици, и запита их говорећи: ко говоре људи да сам ја?

And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying, Whom say the people that I am?

А они одговарајући рекоше: једни веле да си Јован крститељ, а други да си Илија; а други да је који устао од старијех пророка.

They answering said, John the Baptist; but some [say], Elias; and others [say], that one of the old prophets is risen again.

А он им рече: а ви шта мислите ко сам ја? А Петар одговарајући рече: Христос Божиј.

He said unto them, But whom say ye that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God.

А он им запријети и заповједи да никоме не казују тога

And he straitly charged them, and commanded [them] to tell no man that thing;

Говорећи да сину човјечијему треба много пострадати, и да ће га старјешине и главари свештенички и књижевници окривити, и да ће га убити, и трећи дан да ће устати.

Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.

А свима говораше: ко хоће да иде за мном нека се одрече себе и узме крст свој и иде за мном.

And he said to [them] all, If any [man] will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Јер ко хоће душу своју да сачува, изгубиће је; а ко изгуби душу своју мене ради онај ће је сачувати.

For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

Јер какву ће корист имати човјек ако сав свијет придобије а себе изгуби или себи науди?

For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

Јер ко се постиди мене и мојијех ријечи њега ће се син човјечиј постидјети кад дође у слави својој и очиној и светијех анђела.

For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and [in his] Father's, and of the holy angels.

А заиста вам кажем: имају неки међу овима што стоје овдје који неће окусити смрти док не виде царства Божијега.

But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.

А кад прође осам дана послије онијех ријечи, узе Петра и Јована и Јакова и изиђе на гору да се помоли Богу.

And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.

И кад се мољаше постаде лице његово друкчије, и одијело његово бијело и сјајно.

And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment [was] white [and] glistering.

И гле, два човјека говораху с њим, који бијаху Мојсије и Илија.

And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elias:

Показаше се у слави, и говораху о изласку његову који му је требало свршити у Јерусалиму.

Who appeared in glory, and spake of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.

А Петар и који бијаху с њим бијаху заспали; али пробудивши се видјеше славу његову и два човјека који с њим стајаху.

But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.

И кад се одвојише од њега рече Петар Исусу: учитељу! добро нам је овдје бити; и да начинимо три сјенице: једну теби, и једну Мојсију, и једну Илији: не знајући шта говораше.

And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias: not knowing what he said.

А док он то говораше дође облак и заклони их; и уплашише се кад зађоше у облак.

While he thus spake, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud.

И чу се глас из облака говорећи: ово је син мој љубазни, њега послушајте.

And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

И кад се чујаше глас нађе се Исус сам. И они умучаше, и ником не јавише ништа у оне дане од онога шта видјеше.

And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept [it] close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen.

А догоди се други дан кад сиђоше с горе срете га мноштво народа.

And it came to pass, that on the next day, when they were come down from the hill, much people met him.

И гле, човјек из народа повика говорећи: учитељу! молим ти се, погледај на сина мојега, јер ми је јединац:

And, behold, a man of the company cried out, saying, Master, I beseech thee, look upon my son: for he is mine only child.

И гле, хвата га дух, и уједанпут виче, и ломи га с пјеном, и једва отиде од њега кад га изломи;

And, lo, a spirit taketh him, and he suddenly crieth out; and it teareth him that he foameth again, and bruising him hardly departeth from him.

И молих ученике твоје да га истјерају, па не могоше.

And I besought thy disciples to cast him out; and they could not.

И одговарајући Исус рече: о роде невјерни и покварени! докле ћу бити с вама и трпљети вас? Доведи ми сина својега амо:

And Jesus answering said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you, and suffer you? Bring thy son hither.

А док још иђаше к њему обори га ђаво, и стаде га ломити. А Исус запријети духу нечистоме, и исцијели момче, и даде га оцу његову.

And as he was yet a coming, the devil threw him down, and tare [him]. And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, and healed the child, and delivered him again to his father.

И сви се дивљаху величини Божијој. А кад се сви чуђаху свему што чињаше Исус, рече ученицима својијем:

And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they wondered every one at all things which Jesus did, he said unto his disciples,

Метните ви у уши своје ове ријечи: јер син човјечиј треба да се преда у руке човјечије.

Let these sayings sink down into your ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men.

А они не разумјеше ријечи ове; јер бјеше сакривена од њих да је не могоше разумјети; и бојаху се да га запитају за ову ријеч.

But they understood not this saying, and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying.

А уђе мисао у њих ко би био највећи међу њима.

Then there arose a reasoning among them, which of them should be greatest.

А Исус знајући помисли срца њиховијех узе дијете и метну га преда се,

And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a child, and set him by him,

And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me receiveth him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

А Јован одговарајући рече: учитељу! видјесмо једнога гдје именом твојијем изгони ђаволе, и забранисмо му, јер не иде с нама за тобом.

And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name; and we forbad him, because he followeth not with us.

И рече му Исус: не браните; јер ко није против вас с вама је.

And Jesus said unto him, Forbid [him] not: for he that is not against us is for us.

А кад се навршише дани узећа његова, он намјери да иде право у Јерусалим.

And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he stedfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,

И посла гласнике пред лицем својијем; и они отидоше и дођоше у село Самарјанско да му уготове гдје ће ноћити.

And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.

И не примише га; јер видјеше да иде у Јерусалим.

And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem.

А кад видјеше ученици његови Јаков и Јован, рекоше: Господе! хоћеш ли да речемо да огањ сиђе с неба и да их истријеби као и Илија што учини?

And when his disciples James and John saw [this], they said, Lord, wilt thou that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elias did?

А он окренувши се запријети им и рече: не знате каквога сте ви духа;

But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, Ye know not what manner of spirit ye are of.

Јер син човјечиј није дошао да погуби душе човјечије него да сачува. И отидоше у друго село.

For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save [them]. And they went to another village.

А кад иђаху путем рече му неко: Господе! ја идем за тобом куд год ти пођеш.

And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain [man] said unto him, Lord, I will follow thee whithersoever thou goest.

И рече му Исус: лисице имају јаме и птице небеске гнијезда: а син човјечиј нема гдје заклонити главе.

And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air [have] nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay [his] head.

А другоме рече: хајде за мном. А он рече: Господе! допусти ми да идем најприје да укопам оца својега.

And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

А Исус рече му: остави нека мртви укопавају своје мртваце; а ти хајде те јављај царство Божије.

Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God.

А други рече: Господе! ја идем за тобом; али допусти ми најприје да идем да се опростим с домашњима својијем.

And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.

А Исус рече му: ниједан није приправан за царство Божије који метне руку своју на плуг па се обзире натраг.

And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
