Пета књига Мојсијева (која се зове Закони поновљени )

Тада изиде Мојсије из поља Моавскога на гору Навав, на врх Фазге, која је према Јерихону; и показа му Господ сву земљу од Галада до Дана;

And Moses went up from the plains of Moab unto the mountain of Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, that [is] over against Jericho. And the LORD shewed him all the land of Gilead, unto Dan,

И сву земљу Нефталимову, и земљу Јефремову и Манасијину, и сву земљу Јудину до мора западнога,

And all Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim, and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah, unto the utmost sea,

And the south, and the plain of the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees, unto Zoar.

И рече му Господ: ово је земља, за коју сам се заклео Авраму, Исаку и Јакову говорећи: сјемену твојему даћу је. Показах ти је да је видиш очима својима, али у њу нећеш ући.

And the LORD said unto him, This [is] the land which I sware unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, saying, I will give it unto thy seed: I have caused thee to see [it] with thine eyes, but thou shalt not go over thither.

И умрије ондје Мојсије слуга Господњи у земљи Моавској по ријечи Господњој.

So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD.

А погребе га Господ у долини у земљи Моавској према Вет-Фегору; и нико не дозна за гроб његов до данашњега дана.

And he buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, over against Bethpeor: but no man knoweth of his sepulchre unto this day.

И бјеше Мојсију сто и двадесет година кад умрије, и не бјеху потамњеле очи његове нити га снага издала.

And Moses [was] an hundred and twenty years old when he died: his eye was not dim, nor his natural force abated.

И плакаше синови Израиљеви за Мојсијем у пољу Моавском тридесет дана; и прођоше плачни дани жалости за Мојсијем.

And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days: so the days of weeping [and] mourning for Moses were ended.

А Исус син Навин бјеше пун духа мудрости, јер Мојсије бјеше метнуо на њ руке своје. И слушаше га синови Израиљеви, и творише као што заповједи Господ преко Мојсија.

And Joshua the son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom; for Moses had laid his hands upon him: and the children of Israel hearkened unto him, and did as the LORD commanded Moses.

Али не уста више пророк у Израиљу као Мојсије, којега Господ позна лицем к лицу,

And there arose not a prophet since in Israel like unto Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face,

У свијем знацима и чудесима, за која га посла Господ да их учини у земљи Мисирској на Фараону и на свијем слугама његовијем и на свој земљи његовој,

In all the signs and the wonders, which the LORD sent him to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh, and to all his servants, and to all his land,

И у свијем дјелима крјепке руке и у свијем страхотама великим, које учини Мојсије пред свијем Израиљем.

And in all that mighty hand, and in all the great terror which Moses shewed in the sight of all Israel.
